Rotary International President visits workday at Boot Lake Nature Preserve.
Rotary International President Barry Rassin spent some time on Saturday February 9 with a hardy crew of Morning Rotarians working at Boot Lake.  The purpose of the workday was to remove smaller trees from the prairie in preparation for a spring prairie burn.  The visit was in conjunction with his attendance at the Million Dollar Dinner which was held that evening at Notre Dame's Morris Inn.  President Rassin (who is from the Bahamas) braved the bitter cold on Saturday to tour various Rotary projects in the South Bend-Elkhart area.
