Cold Weather Doesn't Dampen Our Fearless Bell Ringers
On Thursday evening November 29, 2018 we braved winter's chill to ring bells for the Salvation Army at Wal-Mart on County Road 6.  Our work shift was from 4pm to 8pm and we handled both entrances to the store.  Consensus was that the giving spirit was not quite as great this year but it could be due to timing.  Normally, we would be bell ringing in December.  During the shifts we managed to solicit some new bell ringers when a parent made a contribution we would let the kids ring the bells for a few seconds.  The kids thought it was pretty great.  At the conclusion of the event we retired to the Beaverson Brewing Company to enjoy some ciders and a new India Pale Ale.
